Good Morning Band Families!

What a fabulous week!  Thank you to all who came up and helped at Band Camp.  Whether you  baked, sewed, cleaned up, washed dishes, served lunch or dinner, donated food, cut up veggies and fruit, or stayed the night on Friday to help out, None of these things would be possible if you did not give your precious time to volunteer with Band Camp!

This week our schedule lightens up with post camp week.  The students will practice from 8AM -Noon on Tuesday through Thursday. 


Tuesday August 18, 2015 is Picture day. The Photographer from Tallmadge Photography will start at noon taking photos of the students. You received the photo information in your green band informational folder at the Band Camp parent meeting last Sunday.  Payment needs to be in the form of cash, credit card, or money orders only.  They do not accept checks.  Please insure your student brings their black socks and black marching shoes!


Our March-a-thon will begin at 5 PM on Friday August 21, 2015!  There has been a change to the location we will be marching to.  We will now march down to Hyre and preform at the Ellet Raiders stadium to help kick off their season.  Afterwards we will head back up to the High School to complete the march-a-thon.  The students need to wear their "I survived " shirts, navy band shorts, ball cap and comfortable tennis shoes.  No sandals or flip flops!  They also need to bring their pledge sheets and donations, as the student who raise the most in donations gets the honor of giving Mr. Grom a pie in the face!!!


Our music note fundraiser will also be done that night!  We will be painting music notes on the cement close to where the band sits in the stadium with your student's first name and last initial.  The cost for this is $10.00 and it is $5.00 for each additional band sibling.
We are off to a fabulous start this year!  Thank you for all your support, and lets keep this momentum going!!!
