Bands in the Round

                                                          Reported by Katie H.
Bands in the Round was on February 14th at North High School. An exciting performance from the Ellet High School band that evening. Starting with a slow, then fast paced song Windjammer by Carl Strommen, which kept you guessing what was going to happen next and took you through an adventurous journey on the sea. A special echo trumpet trio was the heartbeat of the whole song performed by Rodney E, Jason M, and Jeremy E.
A change up from the other songs performed that night, Foundry by John Mackey left people utterly confused. Its interesting percussion line consisted of bowls, car parts, poles, and many more exciting items that helped give the song it's unique sound. The end result of the astounding performance were a 4 out of 4 and a 3 out of 4 from the attending judges. Good job Ellet!
